From Lab to Startup: Scientific Entrepreneurship Day

Join us for the "From Lab to Startup" event in Edmonton on October 28, 2026. This practical program is for researchers, graduate students, and faculty at the University of Alberta who want to turn their discoveries into venture-backed companies. The event will feature sessions led by experts from Celesta Capital and Osler, focused on protecting intellectual property, assessing spinout readiness, and strategies for building science-driven firms. Participants will gain insights on critical decisions and strengths of their technology, along with potential growth avenues for their projects.
