How to delete your Mybzz account

You can delete your account yourself at any time - in the app or on the website. Below you will find the steps and what exactly we delete and when.

In the Mybzz app

  1. Open the Mybzz app and go to Settings.
  2. Choose “Delete account”.
  3. Choose “Delete” to delete the account right away, or “Freeze for 30 days” if you want time to think it over.

In the browser

Log in at mybzz.com and open Settings → Account → Delete account. The account is deleted right after you confirm.

If you are not logged in, we will ask you to log in first.

By e-mail

No access to your account? Write to biuro@mybzz.pl from the e-mail address linked to the account (or give the phone number you log in with). We will delete the account and confirm it by e-mail - within one month at the latest.

When the account disappears

  • “Delete” - we delete the account right away. Your profile immediately stops being visible to others.
  • “Freeze for 30 days” - your profile disappears from Mybzz right away and the account is permanently deleted after 30 days. If you log in again during that time, the account comes back.
  • If you organise an upcoming event with participants, cancel it or hand over the organisation first - only then can you delete the account right away. With a frozen account, such events are cancelled automatically after 30 days and participants are notified.

What we delete

  • Your name, photos, “About me”, e-mail address, phone number and login details.
  • Your professional profile: experience, skills, goals and account settings.
  • Your offers, posts, comments, likes and poll votes.
  • Your contacts, group and group chat memberships and event participation.
  • Notifications and your upcoming events without participants.

What stays in anonymised form

  • Messages you sent in conversations stay with the other people - signed “Account deleted”, without your name or photo.
  • Events that have already taken place stay in the history - without your profile data.
  • Data we are required by law to keep (e.g. payment records and invoices) is kept only for the period required by law.

App Store or Google Play subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought in an app store. Cancel it yourself before deleting the account:

  • App Store: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Mybzz → Cancel subscription.
  • Google Play: Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Mybzz → Cancel subscription.
