Who Is Holding Up the Internet? Open Source, Data & the People Behind Your Phone

Join us in Stockholm on October 28, 2026, for an insightful meetup organized by PyLadies Stockholm. This event revolves around the data story "The people holding up the internet," which examines how a small group of maintainers ensure our digital infrastructure runs smoothly. We'll discuss the importance of open source software, the challenges faced by its maintainers, and what can happen if critical projects lack support. Ideal for those interested in tech, open source, or data visualization, this inclusive event welcomes everyone, regardless of prior knowledge. There will also be opportunities for discussion and networking.
