KWIPS: October 2026

The Kitchener-Waterloo Infosec and Privacy Salon (KWIPS) takes place on October 19, 2026, at Kwartzlab, Kitchener. This event focuses on information security and privacy, featuring a guest speaker who will present on "Grid Shock: Coordinated Load-Changing Attacks on Power Grids". After the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session followed by networking with other participants. Masks are required at this in-person event, and they will be available at the door for those without. This is a great chance to connect with others who share an interest in security topics while exploring recent developments in this field.
