Editing and deleting an offer
You can change your offer at any time. Deleting does not erase it completely - the offer is marked as inactive and disappears from the board for others.
Editing
Only the author of the offer can edit it. You can change all fields: type, title, description, location, industry, terms, commitment and photo.
On mybzz.com
- Open your offer (e.g. from “My offers”). Above the content you will see “This is your offer”.
- Click “Edit”.
- Make your changes and click “Save changes”.
In the app (Android and iPhone)
- Open your offer in the “My offers” tab.
- Tap “Edit”, change the fields and save.
Deleting
“Delete” marks the offer as inactive. Others no longer see it on the board, but the old link to the offer still works and shows a message that the author has removed it. An inactive offer cannot be boosted, commented on or featured, and an ongoing feature ends.
On mybzz.com
- Open your offer and click “Delete”.
- Confirm in the window “Delete this offer? Others will still see it, but it will be marked as inactive.”
In the app (Android and iPhone)
- Open your offer and tap “Delete”.
- Confirm the deletion.
Inactive offers in the list
- On the website only you see an inactive offer, at the top of “My offers”, with the message “This offer is inactive - only you can see it.”
- The “Archive” button hides it from your list in this browser.
- In the app inactive offers are at the end of the list, labelled “Inactive”, and cannot be opened.
Frequently asked questions
Can I erase an offer completely?
Deleting marks the offer as inactive. If you need to remove it completely (e.g. because of details you do not want to show), message us in the chat.
Will the comments disappear after deleting?
The offer and its discussion stay under the old link as inactive, but no more comments can be added.
Does editing change the date it was added?
No. Editing does not move the offer to the top of the “Newest” list.
