Comments, boost and contacting the author of an offer

Under every offer there is a public “Discussion” where any signed-in person can ask questions for free. A boost 🚀 is a vote for the offer, and a private message to the author is a VIP feature.

Discussion under an offer

Any signed-in person can comment, for free. A comment has up to 2000 characters. You can reply to a comment (one level of replies) and upvote it with the ▲ arrow. Comments by the offer author are labelled “OP”. People who are not signed in see the discussion blurred.

On mybzz.com

  1. Open the offer and scroll to the “Discussion” section.
  2. Type in the “Post publicly under this offer…” field and click “Comment”.
  3. To reply to a specific person, click “Reply” under their comment.

In the app (Android and iPhone)

  1. Open the offer on the “Offers” screen and scroll to “Discussion”.
  2. Write a comment and send it. “Reply” under a comment opens a reply.

The offer author gets a notification about a new comment, and you - about a reply to your comment. When comments come in quickly, we collect them into one notification.

Note: A comment cannot be edited or deleted later. Before you send it, check the content and do not post details publicly that you do not want to show.

Boost 🚀

A “Boost” is a vote of support for an offer. One user gives one boost per offer and can take it back. Boosts decide the order in the “Most popular” sorting (boosts from 30 days count) and help in “For you”.

  • Click “Boost” under the offer. The counter next to it shows the number of boosts.
  • You cannot boost your own offer (“You can't boost your own offer”).
  • On your own offer click the “Boost” button with the counter to see “Who boosted your offer” - only the author sees this list.
  • The author gets notifications about boosts (a push for the first one and at 10, 50, 100 and 500).

Private message to the author

The “Message” button (with the VIP label) under the offer and “Private msg 👑” under comments open the VIP window. Messaging people outside your contacts is a VIP feature ($29/month or $249/year).

  • Click “View profile” next to the author to open their profile. From there you can add them to your contacts or - with VIP - message them straight away.
  • Once you are connected as contacts, you message each other in the chat without VIP.
  • The public discussion under an offer is always free.

Sharing an offer

“Share” on the website copies a short link to the offer (mybzz.com/o/…), and in the app it opens system sharing. On a phone with the app the link opens the offer in the app.

Tip: You will get a reply fastest when your comment says specifically who you are and what you propose. The author sees your profile, so a well-completed profile increases your chance of being contacted.

Frequently asked questions

Does the author see that I boosted their offer?

Yes. The author gets a notification and sees the list of people who boosted the offer.

Can I delete my comment?

There is no such option. If a comment has to go, message us in the chat.

Can I report an offer?

Offers have no report button. If an offer breaks the rules, message us in the chat and include the link to it.
