The “Vote for us on Mybzz” badge

The badge is a small banner for your website. It shows your current ranking position and votes this month by itself, invites people to vote and gives your website a dofollow link from Mybzz - for free.

How it works

The badge comes in a “Light” and a “Dark” version. It is an image with a link to the brand page in the catalog - it updates by itself, so you paste it once. When the badge is on your website, the link to your website on Mybzz (in the catalog and in the “Brands” section of your profile) becomes dofollow.

Where to get the badge code

On mybzz.com

  1. Open your brand's page in the catalog - as a team member you will see the “A badge for your website” box.
  2. Choose “Light” or “Dark” and click “Copy code”.
  3. Paste the code on your website's home page and publish the changes.
  4. On your Mybzz profile, next to the brand in the “Brands” section, open “Dofollow link” and click “Check badge”.

In the app (Android and iPhone)

  1. Tap your photo in the top left corner to open the menu.
  2. Tap “Brand directory” → “My brands” and open the brand.
  3. In the badge box choose the version and copy the code. Paste it on your website from a computer.

How we check the badge

  • We look for a link to mybzz.com at the brand's website address and on the domain's home page.
  • The link must not have the rel="nofollow", “sponsored” or “ugc” attribute - otherwise you will see a message that it has to be removed.
  • Apart from the manual “Check badge”, we check the badge automatically once a day.
  • When the badge disappears, the link stays dofollow for another 3 days and we send you an email. Then the link goes back to nofollow.
  • If your website is temporarily down, we do not change anything.
Tip: Paste the badge in the footer or next to customer reviews - that is where people click most willingly, and every vote from your website moves the brand up the ranking straight away.

Frequently asked questions

Is the badge paid?

No. The badge and the dofollow link it gives are free.

Do I have to update the code every month?

No. The badge shows the current position and votes by itself.

I removed the badge. What about the link?

The link stays dofollow for another 3 days, then goes back to nofollow. If you have a dofollow link subscription, the link stays dofollow regardless of the badge.

Something not working?

“We did not find the badge on …”.

Paste the code on the home page (not only on a subpage), publish the changes, clear your website's cache and check again.

The badge is there, but the link is still nofollow.

Your website has added a nofollow, sponsored or ugc attribute to the link. Remove it and click “Check badge”.
