Contact and links (LinkedIn, website, social media)

In the “Contact” section you can add a contact email, phone, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and a website. Here is who sees what.

How it works

The “Contact” section on your profile has two parts: ways to contact you (email, phone) and “Social media” (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, website). All fields are optional.

  • Your contact email is visible to you, your contacts (people you have connected with) and VIP members. Others see a masked address with a padlock and the message “Contact details are visible to VIP members”.
  • We do not show the phone from the “Contact” section to other users. Only you see it.
  • Every signed-in person sees LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and the website on your profile. On cards in Meet and in search results, people without VIP who are not your contacts see them as hidden.
  • People who are not signed in do not see the “Contact” section at all.

Adding and changing details

On mybzz.com

  1. Open your profile and click the pencil in the “Contact” section (or “Add” if it is empty).
  2. “Phone”: choose the country and enter just the number, without the dial code.
  3. “Contact email”: enter the address where you want to receive business messages. It can be different from your account email.
  4. LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram: enter just the account name (the start of the address, e.g. linkedin.com/in/, is already in the field). If you paste the whole link, we will cut the name out of it ourselves.
  5. “Website”: enter the address, e.g. company.com.
  6. Click “Save”.

In the app (Android and iPhone)

  1. Menu (your photo) → “View Profile” → the pencil in the “Contact” section.
  2. Fill in the fields the same way as on the website and tap “Save”.

Good to know

  • In the edit window you will read: “Your connections and VIP members see your phone and email. Links are visible to everyone.” In practice we do not show the phone from this section to anyone but you.
  • The number you sign in with is not the same as the phone in the “Contact” section. Nobody sees your sign-in number.
  • Links from a profile open with a warning that you are leaving Mybzz.
  • One link (LinkedIn, website, Facebook or Instagram) gives 10% in the “Complete your profile” bar. A contact email gives another 10%, unless you already have a verified account phone or email.
Tip: Add your LinkedIn. It is the fastest way for a new person to check who you are before messaging you.

Frequently asked questions

Who will see my contact email?

You, your contacts and VIP members. Others will see: “You'll see the email with VIP or once … accepts your invitation.”

How do I see someone's email?

Connect with that person (both sides must want to meet) or upgrade to VIP. Current VIP prices: $29/month or $249/year.

Can I add TikTok or YouTube?

No. LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and a website are available.

Do I have to give my phone number?

No. All fields in the “Contact” section are optional.

Something not working?

I see “Enter just the account name, without spaces.”

Remove the spaces and enter only the account name, e.g. john-smith for LinkedIn.

My LinkedIn link is rejected.

Enter the name from the linkedin.com/in/… address. Company and school addresses (company/… and school/…) are allowed too.
