Free VIP and paid VIP: how they add up
You can get VIP for free: for points, from an invitation or from Mybzz. Free days extend your VIP, but they do not move the subscription payment date.
Where free VIP comes from
- For points: 7 days for 100 points or 30 days for 350 points, once every 30 days (mybzz.com/rewards).
- From an invitation: when you join through a friend's link and complete your account, you get VIP days to start with (usually 3 days).
- From the Mybzz team, e.g. in a promotional campaign.
How they add up
If you do not have VIP, free days start today. If you already have VIP, we add them to the end of the current period - nothing is lost when you claim them.
It is different with a subscription that renews. Free days do not change the payment date: the charge is taken on the usual day, and the renewal sets the end of VIP to the end of the new paid period. In practice the added days only extend your VIP if the subscription does not renew, e.g. after cancelling.
Buying paid VIP when you have free VIP
An account can have only one active VIP at a time. While free VIP lasts, you cannot buy a subscription on the website (you will see “You already have an active VIP plan”). You can buy it when the free VIP expires - you see the end date on mybzz.com/rewards (“You have VIP until …”).
On mybzz.com
- You can check your VIP end date on mybzz.com/rewards or in “Settings” → “VIP and subscription”.
- Free VIP has no cancel button - it simply expires.
In the app (Android and iPhone)
- Tap your photo in the top left corner of the home screen (or swipe from the left edge) - the menu opens.
- Tap “Points” - you will see “You have VIP until …”.
- The VIP card at the bottom of the menu shows “Active” when you have any VIP.
Good to know
- Free VIP gives exactly the same features as paid VIP.
- Free days cannot be exchanged for money.
- When free VIP expires, your account goes back to the free plan - your points and contacts stay.
Frequently asked questions
I claimed 7 days for points while having paid VIP. Where are those days?
They were added to the end of the current period. At the next subscription renewal VIP gets a new paid period, and the payment date does not change.
Can I claim VIP for points when I have paid VIP?
Yes - you will see the message “We will add 7 days to your VIP.” (or 30 days - depending on the option you chose).
I have 3 days of VIP from an invitation. Can I buy the yearly plan right away?
On the website only after those 3 days expire.
