Complete your profile to 100%
The “Complete your profile” bar shows how complete your profile is and tells you what is missing. A complete profile gets better matches in Meet and builds trust.
How we calculate the percentage
The bar is made up of 8 items. We count them the same way on the website and in the app:
- Profile photo - 20%.
- About me - 25%. Full from 60 characters, a shorter bio gives half.
- Job title - 10%.
- Company - 5%.
- Skills - 10%. Full from 3 skills, one or two give half.
- City - 10%. It is set automatically from your location in the app.
- Contact - 10%. A contact email or a verified account phone or email is enough.
- LinkedIn, website, Facebook or Instagram - 10% (one is enough).
The colour of the bar tells you how close you are: below 40% it is red, below 70% orange, then blue. At 100% you will see “Profile complete”.
How to add the missing items
On mybzz.com
- Hover over the “Complete your profile” bar in the left panel (on a phone, tap it). The list “What’s missing to reach 100%” opens.
- Next to each missing item you see how many percent you will get, e.g. “+10%”, and a hint, e.g. “12 more characters” or “add 2 more”.
- Click “Add” next to an item. Your profile opens straight away with the right edit window.
- Save your changes. The bar recalculates by itself.
In the app (Android and iPhone)
- Tap your photo in the top left corner. In the side menu, under your name, you see the profile completion bar with the percentage.
- Tap “View Profile”. Empty sections have a “Fill” button, and completed ones a pencil for editing.
- Fill in the missing sections and save. Until your profile reaches 100%, the app may also show a “Finish your profile” banner at the bottom with a “Complete” button.
Good to know
- You cannot enter your city on the website. It is set from your location in the app once you allow it access to your location.
- The bar only counts what is listed above. Goals (“What you are looking for”) and brands do not change the percentage, but they help with matching.
- You can have at most 10 skills. 3 are enough for the full 10%.
Frequently asked questions
Why am I at 95% even though I filled in everything?
Most often the city is missing. Turn on location in the Mybzz app - the city fills in by itself.
Does a complete profile give me anything?
We match you with people in Meet better, and people reply more willingly to those with a complete profile.
Can others see the percentage?
No. Only you see the bar.
Something not working?
The bar did not change after saving.
Refresh the page, or close and reopen the menu in the app. Also check that “About me” has at least 60 characters and that you have at least 3 skills.
