Contacts: list, search and deleting

Contacts are all the people you have a connection with. Here you can check who is online, quickly send a message or delete a contact.

How it works

Your contact list has the people you have a connection with (both sides chose “Add”). Next to each person you see whether they are “Online now” or when they were last active. Online means activity within the last 2 minutes.

On the website: contact list

  1. In the top menu click “Meet” → “Contacts” (address mybzz.com/contacts).
  2. Type a name, job title, company or email in the “Search contacts...” field.
  3. Click “Send Message” to write straight away, or click the person to see their profile.
  4. On a computer, in the right column of the home page, you also see the “Wants to meet you” and “Recent Matches” tabs and the “Online now” section.

In the app: contact list

  1. Tap your photo at the top of the home screen to open the menu.
  2. Choose “Connections”.
  3. Use the “Search” field to find a person.
  4. Tap a person to see the actions: “Send Message”, “Delete Connection”, “Block the profile”, “Report the profile”.

Deleting a contact

You can only delete a contact in the app - the website does not have this feature.

In the app: deleting a contact

  1. Menu (your photo) → “Connections”.
  2. Tap the person and choose “Delete Connection”.
  3. Confirm the question “Do you want to delete this connection”.

What happens after deleting:

  • The connection and your “Add” and “Skip” answers in Meet disappear - for both people.
  • The other person does not get any notification.
  • The chat history is not deleted and you can both still write in it. If you do not want it, delete the conversation separately (it disappears only for you).
  • You may see each other again in the “For You” cards and add each other again.
Note: Deleting a contact is not blocking. If you do not want this person to contact you or see you in Meet, use “Block the profile”.

Good to know

  • The contact list on the website refreshes by itself every few minutes.
  • Contacts see your posts with “Friends” visibility.
  • By default only contacts and people from the conversation under a post can tag you (@).
Tip: Check “Online now” from time to time. A message sent while someone is active has the best chance of a quick reply.

Frequently asked questions

Why is someone not on my list?

The list only has connections, i.e. people you added and who added you. People you only message are in the chat, but not in your contacts.

Does the person know I deleted them?

We do not send them a notification. They may notice, however, that you are no longer connected.

How do I delete a contact on a computer?

The website does not have this feature. Use the app, or block the person in the conversation on the website.
