“For You” cards: how to browse people
In Meet you look at one person at a time and decide: “Add” or “Skip”. When two people add each other, a connection is made and you can message each other for free.
How it works
The cards are people picked for you: first nearby, then further away, taking your goals into account. Each person appears on screen alone, and below the card you see a timer bar. You have 30 seconds to decide, and people come in rounds of 10. After each round you see a short summary of how many people you added and how many you skipped.
When the time runs out, nothing happens: we send neither “Add” nor “Skip”. The card moves on, and you can go back to that person with the “Previous” button. The timer stops by itself while you read profile details, swipe a card or open the decision window. You can also pause it manually (“Pause timer” / “Resume timer”).
- “Add” - you want to meet this person. They will get a notification that someone wants to meet them.
- “Skip” - not now. This person does not come back to the cards by themselves.
- “Message” (in the app “Send a message”) - a message straight away, without waiting for a connection. This is a VIP feature: without VIP the VIP page opens.
- “Details” - flips the card and shows the full profile.
What you see on a card
On the front there is the photo, name, job title and company, city and distance (“… km from you”), the “Online now” badge, the “Match” percentage and a short excerpt of the bio. On the back you will find the full profile: “About me”, what this person is looking for and what they offer, the “Your match” section, skills, experience, offers, mutual contacts, events, achievements and activity from the last month. The email address in the “Contact” section is only visible to VIP members.
On the website: browsing cards
- In the top menu click “Meet”, then “Browse profiles” (address mybzz.com/search).
- Allow your browser to use your location or choose a city - then we show people near you.
- Click “Add” or “Skip”. “Previous” and “Next” move between cards without deciding.
- Click “Details” to see the whole profile, and “Back to card” to go back.
- Keyboard shortcuts: ↑ add, ↓ skip, ← next, → previous, Space pause. Enter opens details.
In the app: browsing cards
- In the bottom menu tap “Search” and choose the “For You” tab.
- Swipe the card up to add or down to skip. You can also tap the buttons below the card.
- Swiping left shows the next person, swiping right the previous one.
- Tap the card to flip it and see the full profile.
Daily mission and points
Above the cards you see the “Daily mission”: make 5 decisions (“Add” or “Skip”) and you get points that you can exchange for free VIP. Each person counts once a day. You will see how many points you get in the mission itself and in “See your points”.
When you run out of people
Once you have seen all the new people within your range, you will see a message that you have gone through all the new people nearby. You can then click “Review skipped people” - we will show again only those you skipped earlier - or “Search with filters”. New people join every day, so it is worth coming back.
Good to know
- The number of cards per day is not limited - also without VIP.
- You can change your decision: go back to the person with the “Previous” button and choose differently.
- On the cards you only see people with their own photo. You will not see people who have hidden their profile, blocked you or whom you have blocked.
- Without VIP we search within the radius set in “Maximum Distance” (700 km by default). With VIP you can turn on “Whole World”.
Frequently asked questions
Will a person I skipped come back to the cards?
Not by themselves. When you run out of new people, you can find them in “Review skipped people” and change your decision.
Does the other person know I skipped them?
No. We only send a notification for “Add”.
Is there a card limit without VIP?
No. Without VIP you browse cards without limits. VIP gives you, among other things, the “Message” button, “Whole World” and a view of the people who want to meet you.
What happens if I do not decide within 30 seconds?
Nothing bad. We do not save any decision, and you can go back to the person with the “Previous” button.
Something not working?
I see a message that we do not know my location.
Turn on location in your browser or phone, or choose a city manually. Without it we show an approximate area based on your internet connection.
I do not see anyone new.
Increase the “Maximum Distance” in the Discover settings or review skipped people. New people join every day.
