Distance and “Whole World”

You set how far we look for people for you in Meet. By default it is 700 km, and with VIP you can search the whole world.

How it works

  • “Maximum Distance” - from 1 to 1000 km, for everyone. 700 km by default.
  • “Whole World” - no distance limit. You can only turn it on with VIP. Without VIP the switch opens the VIP page.
  • When “Whole World” is on, you see “∞ km” instead of the number of kilometres, and the slider disappears.

We calculate distance from the location in your profile (GPS or a city chosen manually). If there is none, we use an approximate area from your internet connection and keep it only for the search. When you move by more than about 1 km and location is turned on, we save the new position to your profile.

On the website: changing the range

  1. Click your photo in the top bar and choose “Settings”.
  2. Open the “Discover” section (address mybzz.com/settings?s=poznawaj).
  3. Move the “Maximum Distance” slider.
  4. With VIP turn on “Whole World” to search without a limit.

In the app: changing the range

  1. Tap your photo at the top of the home screen.
  2. Choose “Settings”.
  3. In the “Discovery Settings” section move the “Maximum Distance” slider or turn on “Whole World” (VIP).

Good to know

  • On the website the slider moves in steps of 1 km, in the app in steps of about 10 km.
  • When VIP ends, we go back to your maximum distance.
  • The same settings section has “Hide profile” - it hides you in Meet and in search. On the website anyone with a paid plan sees it, in the app only VIP members.
  • The range applies to the “For You” cards. Advanced search has a separate location filter.
Tip: Live in a smaller town? Set the range to 300-700 km. Looking for partners for remote work? “Whole World” with VIP will show you business people from every country.

Frequently asked questions

Why will “Whole World” not turn on?

It is a VIP feature. Without VIP the switch opens the VIP page. Current prices: $29/month or $249/year.

You are showing me people from a different city than mine.

We probably do not know your exact location and are using an approximate one. Turn on location on your phone or browser, or choose a city manually.

Can I set less than 1 km?

No. The smallest range is 1 km.
