Posts and who sees them
In the feed you share what you are doing: text, photos, videos and polls. For each post you choose who will see it.
How it works
The feed is the Mybzz home page. You see other people's posts there, and at the top you have a field to write your own. A post can have up to 3000 characters. You can add photos or videos, a coloured background, a poll or a link to a YouTube video. Your posts are also shown on your profile.
Who sees your post
- “Public” - everyone on Mybzz. A person who is not signed in can also open the post from a direct link.
- “Friends” - only your contacts, i.e. people you have a connection with.
- “Only me” (when editing on the website “Private”, in the app “Private”) - only you.
- People you have blocked or who have blocked you never see your posts, and you do not see theirs.
By default a post is public. You can also change the visibility later by editing the post.
On the website: new post
- Go to the feed: “Home” in the top bar (mybzz.com/feed).
- Click the “What's on your mind?” field at the top. You can also use “Create” → “Post” in the top bar.
- Write your text. Next to it you will find “Add photos”, “Video”, “Background Style”, “Create a poll” and “Add emoji”.
- Choose the visibility: “Public”, “Friends” or “Only me”.
- Click “Post”. With a video, keep the tab open until you see “Your post has been published”.
In the app: new post
- In the bottom menu tap “Home”.
- Tap the “What's on your mind?” field at the top.
- Write your text, add photos, a video, a background or a “Poll”.
- Choose the visibility: “Public”, “Friends” or “Private”.
- Tap “Post”.
Hashtags and translation
- Add a #hashtag in the text and the post goes onto the list of posts with that hashtag. You will see popular hashtags in “Trending”.
- We translate posts in foreign languages automatically. You will see “Automatically translated” and “See original”.
Good to know
- On the website we add your city to the post if your browser shares your location. You can change or remove it when editing (“Location”).
- We label posts with AI-generated images and show them lower in the “For You” order.
- Writing a post or a comment is one of the daily tasks - you get points towards free VIP for it.
- Posting is free. There are no VIP-only posts.
Frequently asked questions
Who will see a “Friends” post?
Only people you have a connection with (a mutual “Add” in Meet).
Can I schedule a post for later?
No. A post is published straight away when you click “Post”.
Where do I find my posts?
On your profile. All your posts are shown there.
Something not working?
I see “You must provide content or select photos”.
A post cannot be empty. Write some text, add a photo or a poll.
I see “Failed to create post”.
Check your internet connection and try again. For videos, check that the file is up to 500 MB and up to 5 minutes.
