Notifications: the rocket in the app and the bell on the website
Everything that happens around you is collected in one place: in the app under the rocket icon, on the website under the bell.
Where notifications are
- App: the rocket icon 🚀 in the top right corner of the “Home” screen. It is not a boost - it is your notifications. The counter shows how many are new.
- Website: the bell in the top bar with a red counter. Clicking it opens the “Notifications” list.
What you will find there
- “Someone wants to meet you” - without VIP with no name, with VIP with the name. Clicking takes you to the “They want to meet you” list.
- New connections.
- New messages in the chat and in groups.
- Tags: “mentioned you in a post” and “in a comment”.
- Boosts and comments on your posts and replies to your comments.
- Events: invitations, sign-ups for your events, requests to join.
- Matters concerning offers and brands you manage.
We combine several boosts on one post into one notification (e.g. “… and 4 others”). We send a push about boosts for the first one and at round numbers, and for many comments in a short time - one combined push.
On the website: notification list
- Click the bell in the top bar.
- Click a notification to go to the post, conversation or event.
- You delete a single notification with the “Delete notification” button, and all of them with “Delete all” (you confirm with “Yes, delete”).
- In the notifications window you can turn the “Notification sound” on or off.
In the app: notification list
- On the “Home” screen tap the rocket in the top right corner.
- Tap a notification to go to the details.
- Swipe a notification left to delete it, or use “Delete all”.
Good to know
- Opening the list marks all notifications as read. There is no separate “Mark as read” button.
- “Delete all” deletes notifications permanently.
- You set phone push notifications and emails separately: on the website in “Settings” → “Notifications”, in the app in “Settings” → “Notifications”. More in the “Account and security” section.
Frequently asked questions
Why are notifications under a rocket in the app and not under a bell?
That is how the Mybzz app looks. The rocket in the top right corner of the “Home” screen is your notifications, and the rocket under a post is a boost.
Why can I not see who wants to meet me?
The person's name is visible with VIP. Without VIP we show “Someone wants to meet you”.
Something not working?
I do not see the bell on the website.
Refresh the page and make sure you are signed in. If it is still missing, message us through the help chat.
The counter shows new notifications, but the list is empty.
Refresh the page or restart the app. If the problem comes back, message us.
